In this lab I learned how to install Windows 7 operating system. It began by bringing me to the main installation page where I was able to select my language, time and currency format, and keyboard or input method. I chose the defaults which were English and US. I then was shown a screen that had a button labeled "Install Now" which I proceeded to click. The next page was the license terms where I read the terms that I was able to see. Once I read and accepted the terms I selected the checkbox next to the phrase "I accept the license terms."…

EULA (End User License Agreement) is the software license agreement which is the term contract between the owner and the user . In other words one can say that EULAs are attempts to tie the customers to the established rules or the strict rules and the contract which says the hidden things of the particular software. Most EULA form contracts are in the digital form and the user may not understand it until they purchase the particular software. Therefore, initially they go for click through button like “ACCEPT” without reading and understanding the terms and conditions. Therefore the results are risky to the customers and also to the manufacturers. It is the duty of the manufacturers to make the content as precise as possible intimate the customers to go through the rules and regulations before they click on “accept” .But these days the license agreement is very large for the users to go through it and accept the EULA . Therefore the don’t read them. They directly “accept”.…

Zombies are fictional undead creatures created through the reanimation of human corpses. Zombies are most commonly found in horror and fantasy genre works. The term comes from Haitian folklore where a zombie is a dead body animated by magic. Modern depictions of zombies do not necessarily involve magic but invoke other methods such as viruses.…

Zombies are fictional undead creatures encountered in horror and fantasy themed work. They are typically mindless, reanimated corpses with a hunger for human flesh, and particularly for human brains. I chose to search on this topic because Zombies are incredibly popular, the growth is phenomenal, not only are they in films, TV shows and fan productions on YouTube, but there’s a vast growth in books with zombie survival guides selling very well. Some question I researched on: why are zombies so popular in today’s modern society media? I will also look into the history of zombies. How did they come in first place? What are the factors that can result someone into a zombie? Are they anything like those are portrayed in movies or on TV? Most importantly what would happen if we had a Zombie Apocalypse? For research I used article from discovery news “A History Of Real Zombies” by Benjamin Radford and a documentary video from History Channel “Zombies: A Living History.”…

In all its glory, the video games industry does face some impending risks and challenges. The most prominent one being software piracy. This issue has been around for decades, but is becoming increasingly relevant as the industry grows bigger. From 2006 to 2010 alone, video games piracy in the UK has grown by almost 20%, as highlighted in Figure 7. Assessing the true damage that piracy deal to the industry is highly difficult, however one cannot deny that the increasing trend of online torrents will not affect the sales of video games. A survey conducted by TIGA in 2009 stated that 60% of those interviewed feel that piracy poses a significant problem for their business and 90% feels that the influence it has is rising. Thus, developers have…
