5.1 Concept
The concept of reduce, reuse and recycle (3R’s) is being embraced within the packaging community not only as a marketing tool but also as a powerful means of improving production efficiency and maintaining profitability. The aim for the reusable utensil wrap set is to transform plastic utensils into a wanted gift that could be purchased and could be given to someone as a present. Having the idea of recycling as a concept has made the designer to rethink the materials that was going to be used to build a package that would strongly enhance the concept further, with this in mind only used newspaper, brown paper and old cereal boxes to make this packaging.

The company can consider selling the reusable utensil wrap set because it is very unique packaging unlike anything they have sold before. After finding out how passionate they are about this concept, it shows that reusable wrap set would surely have met their ideal vision that they want in a package.
Competitors are sellers who have the same product as well the same target audience (Piana, 2014). Plastico have their own competitors who challenge to find a better way of selling their product. Their competitors are Rediweld Rubble and Plastics ltd, Advanced Specialist Moulders Ltd and UPG Wales. Plastico would need a different marketing strategy that would make them unique and allow them to stand out from their rivals. The reusable wrap set packaging has been built for their target audience to use over and over again and that will inspire them to do more in improving the environment. It is this packaging unlike anything that their competitors have done. This would interest people in buy the packaging because of its uniqueness.
