The teacher had an overall great lesson on writing to the editor. Her objectives were not clearly stated on the board or reviewed with the students. She did however in each segment explained what was forthcoming in the assignment. The teacher used a primary source on the letter to an editor from a newspaper. This was highly effective because its non-fiction and students will be able to relate to a concern of current events.…

First, I will measure the correct amount of magnesium I need, which is 0.1g. Then I will measure out 10cm3 of the sulphuric acid into the measuring cylinder. Next, before I start the experiment, I will measure the starting temperature of the acid. Then I will place the magnesium and sulphuric acid in a beaker. I will measure the temperature every twenty seconds for three minutes and twenty seconds, and plot my results in a table. I will then re-do the experiment four times with a different concentration every time…
The first challenge was for each of the students in the group to run at least 20 laps of the gym during the month. They tracked progress and encouraged their friends to accomplish the task. Then the next month, they challenged their peers to another exercise goal – push-ups, sit ups, lunges, jumping jacks were to be done throughout the time in our program, helping each student to understand the importance of daily exercise in a healthy…
Maintaining a healthy classroom is of extreme importance. Encouraging children’s parents to keep unhealthy kids at home so possible infections won’t occur is truly significant. When child displays signs of illness, immediate phone call needs to be made for pickup. Providing a healthy and nutritious variety of snacks and lunches is essential for the child. Once the school year begins, it is required for me to send a list of healthy foods and snacks home. Modeling proper snack behavior is needed. Teaching students proper hand washing techniques for each meal and bathroom time helps them understand the concepts better.…

P3.6- I used snack time as an opportunity to do an activity by telling all the children about eating healthily and their 5-a-day and how milk is a good thing to drink as it gives them calcium which is good for their bones to make them big and strong. I told them that there is a 5-a-day chart and I printed one off for them so they could see what types of foods come from each section. I then asked them to tell me what their favourite foods are so I could tell them what food category it goes into and whether or not they should eat a lot of it or just a bit.…
The majority of the students had a fun and enjoyable lesson which was one of the objectives of the class. The other objective was to know what a ‘dynamic’ is in dance. I feel all students had a clear understanding of this by the end of the session and demonstrated different dynamics in dance and could also talk about this at the end of the session.…

I spent hours surfing the internet looking at articles that discuss the importance or lack of play with children. This text is suitable for High Intermediate level. The class contains 19 students in the list from which usually at least 15 are present. The age range of the class is almost young and from different nationalities. The class is a mixture of male and female ( 11 men, 8 women) The text I have chosen is a piece of an article from a magazine from their course book, American English File 3B, page 83. The vocabulary is rather advanced and the style is formal. I think it is interesting in terms of theme to students, because they are interested in health matters and the topic is a bit shocking too! In contrast with general views about being active and being healthy!…
Now, the reason I am telling you this is because these were the fundamental building blocks of my physical health and fitness, which of course is the reason we take this class. From this class, I really liked that we got down to the point, got exactly what we needed to know, and was not surprised with what was on the tests. What I did not like about the class was the 25 minute presentation because it just seemed way too long and most of it was about the information we had already learned from the class. One thing I would change from the class was the 25 minute presentation. I would change it to a 10 minute presentation and give the students a…
