I like the whole “utopia” feel about the begging of the book the city seems almost perfect until you continue and find all these under the surface answers that really mess with your head.I also like how you experience the metamorphosis of Jonas's personality from the beginning of the book to where he seems weird and without emotion to where he is like you and me with emotions and own way of thinking. Almost like a granting of free will. |In the book I don't like how the author included the murder of a baby excused so lightly by the word “release”.|Did Gabe and Jonas make it to those lights alive even though they were in the snow and slowly freezing to death before Jonas passed out?|
