Graduation day, the best day of the year for most students. You have worked so hard for so long and now it is finally complete. Well almost complete, college should be right around the corner and you will be a freshman all over again, but that’s okay. College is so much better than High school. Also instead of getting an education for free you are getting an education for your career and you know what that means, money! All students should go to college, even if you struggled in high school. College is more flexible and enables you to manage what you have to do in order to be successful.
In most high schools, the days are long and the same daily; four classes a day, five days a week. With this strict schedule it can be hard to have a job, if you chose to do so in high school, or attending other activities going on in the world outside of school. But with college, the schedule is not so strict. You can choose what you think you can handle. Everyone's life and responsibilities are different. For example, you can take in school or online classes, have classes in the morning or afternoon, or you can have classes every day of the week or two to three days a week. Throughout the time in school you take those course along with a few others. Each high school offers certain types of classes, such as languages, life management, physical education, and extra classes of the four main subjects. After graduating don’t worry about not knowing what career you want to pursue. You can explore many different subjects, such as health care, technology, technician, and many other pursuits of interest. If you choose an area you like learning the information will be more susceptible to being remembered. This also will help you be successful in school, even if you struggled
before. When a students has completed the eighth grade, they become overwhelmed that high school is finally here. For some students it tends to be where they get carried away into the high school life. This meaning friends, popularity, and drama. Students getting all caught up in the high school social life; “when's the fight going to be”, “how was the party this weekend”, “this new video just came out”, and etc.. It distracts student from doing what they need to do in order to be successful. That all goes away when you get to college. Everyone around you is driven by one thing, to be successful. This creates a focused, attentive, and knowledgeable environment, that increases your potential of being successful. I think by now you should get the point. College is definitely manageable and anyone is able to be successful. With the right time and dedication, all the hard work once again will payout, literally. Once you have completed your studies, you will not regret it. You will be proud of yourself and the life you have accomplished.
