Background of the Organization Jafza is an organization under the Economic Zones World and it was established under an Emiri decree on 9th February 1985. Jafza is located next to the Jebel Ali port, the largest port in the Middle East and the upcoming Al Maktoum International Airport and it’s the home of more than 6500 companies including 145 of the fortune global 500 companies. Jafza is one of the companies under Dubai World, and it is a part of the Economic Zones World.
Jafza was established with the key objectives of attracting companies to operate there through offering them various attractive incentives such as the following; * No taxation, * No requirement for local partner, * Foreign ownership, and * Freedom to employ whoever they choose with the free zone acting as nominal sponsor
