PMR RESULTS DAY
Omg okay so we got our results today! 7A's for meeeeeee yayyy!! So our school had 65 straight A's this year, more compared to last years. All in all, pengetua said she's pretty satisfied with our results. 4th in malacca, if you ask me, I'd say it's way more than what we anticipated. So we were all in school by 10 and pengetua came at 11. As soon as she came, everyone started shouting and screaming with joy idk why. And she walked in like a bride to be, gave her speech, and announced the results. Well actually Cikgu Zainal was announcing the names, and she was shaking our hands while handing us the result slips. The pressure in that hall was intense. After everyone got their results, we had a photo session where all of us were pretty much squeezed since there were just too many people. Then another photo session for a Chinese newspaper in pengetua's office. First time I stepped into her room hehe. That's pretty much it. Oh and I snapped a pic with Cikgu Zainal and mummy Aizal too. Solo ones FINALLY YESSSS!! I was kinda emotional with mummy. I went to her to get my booklist and first thing she said was congratulations. We shook hands and I automatically hugged her. I had no intention of hugging her, but idk why my body just hugged her without the knowledge of my brain. I have no regrets though. Cos she is and always will be my school mum. I think mostly everyone from 3M took a photo with her, but according to me, she's only this close (our faces were really touching) in my picture. And for the first time ever, it's not me who barged at her. Really gonna miss her next year. Anyway that's about it for results. Thanks to everyone. It wild have been impossible without all of you.

Today is perhaps one of the most important days of my life. It is the day I take my placement exam that determines which major you will be put into at the higher learning institution. Shakily I finish getting dressed for the day, I am adorned in a pair of navy pants and a grey button up with the number 84 on the cuff. Each year the society gives a number to every child born. I was the 84th child of the year so that is the number I was assigned, many of my other classmates have number ranging from 20 to over 200. I slip out of my room and jog to the end of my hall barely catching the last lift to the 97th floor where the test is administered. Not everyone gets invited to secondary school, for 75% of the world primary is the end, they didn’t pass, and would be taught trade jobs with little opportunity for advancement. Due to this pressure of the test looms over me and the memory of leaving my mother and family take over my mind almost daily.…

We were so happy, I started explaining to her where we were, how the place looked like and that there was a big garbage can, as I explain tears dripped from my eyes. We hugged each other, cried, and stayed put right next to the garbage can. We finally saw my mother’s silver BMW car. We slowly walked towards the car, making sure that it was my mother or one of our parents are in there. I then saw my mother did something with her hand, I know what that meant to hurry up, I told my little cousins to hurry up and get in the car, we ran as fast as we could towards the car and got in. Since then my little cousins and I learned a very big and important lesson that we will never forget, it to your pacings with your family, close and to tell them that you need a break if you are losing your…

Before meeting Mrs. Nguyen for the first time, my final year in middle school was a major decay compared to my previous years. I was struggling emotionally and mentally, feeling like at times I was going to burst into tears and constantly calling myself a failure. My grades suffered tremendously as well, barely passing with D’s and C’s and saying my parents were disappointed was an understatement. 8th grade was definitely one of my worst time periods in my life. I met Mrs. Nguyen for the first time when she came over to my middle school to talk about high school…

As I was getting dropped off and hearing my mom telling me bye I started to cry. Being really close to my mom I didn't want her to leave me there all alone. So we walked in together and she told me that I was going to be all right. My mom and my new teacher, Mrs. Fossum were having a hard time getting me to stay there. After they saw that I wouldn't stay, my mom had to stay there with me thru out that whole day. As the first day went on I was making a bunch of friends with my new classmates. When the second day came I wanted my mom to stay at school but I realized that she had to go to work. After she had left I saw a table that had some crayons and some paper on it, so I ventured over to it and stood by the seat watching to see if anyone was going to stop me from drawing. No one came so I took a seat, a piece of paper, and of course a blue coloring pencil just like the one I had at home and started to draw. When the other children saw that I was already hard at work with my drawing, which somewhat looked like a cow, they came and sat down with me. Even the child that didn’t want to leave his father noticed me and…

The sun is shining, the wind is blowing, I put on a big huge smile on a my face as the teacher calls us to go outside for the end of the year school party. "I'm so excited!!" I whisper to my friend Aviva as the teacher calls tables. Another side of me is a nervous wreck, because I thought I wasn't going to make it to middle school, the main reason is that I'm terrible at every subject and I'm going to get an F on every test in the whole 6th grade, I think, as the teacher dismisses the table and I slowly walk toward the outside of the classroom."Boo!" Aviva exclaims. "Whoa! You scared me there, are you out of your mind?!" I joke. As we both head to the classrooms to get some snacks and treats, I turn and look at everyone, one last time before I never see them that way again. I smile as I step inside.…

When the school gave me a letter to bring home I was terrified I just knew I was in trouble. My mother picked me up at school that day and as we drove home all I could think about was the letter in my book bag. I knew I had to give it to her sometime today, so right there in the backseat I came up with my plan. The plan was to go home do all my chores, help her with dinner, help clean up, and then give her the letter. The time had come dinner was over I had helped cleaned up now my whole family was watching TV together. I went to my room and grabbed the letter and slowly walked to the living room to hand it to my mother. As soon as she seen the letter her face changed, but as she read it she began to smile.
