In my opinion I think Career Counselor has more benefits than those who work as Podiatrist. Also as a Career Counselor you help people physically and mentally. Personally I like helping people because it makes me feel better and makes me feel closer to the world. Podiatrist treat ankle and lower leg injuries.They also treat diseases and deformities.To be a Podiatrist you need to have special skills like working well with your hands and working well with people. However, Career Counselors are different from Podiatrist because, Career Counselors help clients set realistic career goals. Career Counselors also help clients understand themselves and gave them the courage to try new things. In the same way as Podiatrist you need special skills to be a good Counselor. You need to be patient and Understanding.
Podiatrist and Career Counselling both require special education and training to be able to get to where you want to be.
In other to become a Podiatrist you need a 3 years of college. You also need a high school credits in Biology ,Physics ,Chemistry and English. You need 2 to 4 years of residency training after college, and a you also have to take the MCAT test to prove that you are ready to proceed in your career .and residency training after college. Moreover you need to earn a Doctor of Podiatrist Medicine degree.On the other hand to become a Career Counselor you need a 4 years bachelor’s degree in Counseling or psychology Next you need to pass a test and have the right education to be certified.
