People go through many situations in life. Most of them can be extremely stressful. Therefore, sometimes they just snap. In the story “Poison”, by Roald Dahl, Harry is angry because of stress, Dr. Ganderbai’s sarcasm, and his own superiority complex. Harry is in a very stressful situation. Harry is stuck in his bed because there is a poisonous Asian snake called a krait, sleeping on his stomach. A krait’s bite is deadly. Therefore, it is crucial that he stay as still as possible. However, as the time drags on Harry becomes impatient. Dr. Ganderbai is doing what he can, but Harry becomes agitated.
