that we both started the game with different Pokemon. I would not allow him to pick the same one as me and vice versa. I wanted to feel different from everyone. Because I am a blue, I always felt like I had to be unique even if it was over the smallest thing. Another instance that I showed my traits of being a blue, is when all I did was speak to another human being… so I thought.
I was at Big Fish rehearsal and the entire cast was taking a break. I was sitting down with my girlfriend and we were talking. After a while, this one girl came and talked to me for 5 minutes. All we did was have a brief conversation about the show. After she left, my girlfriend told me that it seems like I was flirting with her, while I thought I was just having a normal conversation with her. My girlfriend then went on and told me that I flirt with everyone but I don’t know that i'm doing it. This instance shows my trait of being a natural
romantic.
Accepting others is another trait for a blue. During musical rehearsal, there was this kid backstage who was kind of behind everyone else in terms of mental processing. No one would talk to him but I involved him in our group of friends and he turned out to be a really funny guy. General loyalty is also one very common character trait found in the “blue” people. Again, after rehearsal, I was asked to go to Applebee’s with a group of my friends. I badly wanted to go but I remembered that my family has already made plans for all of us to go to Daimaru. So I told my friends that I already had plans with my family, even though it was very hard for me to do, I did it and stayed loyal to my family. Unlike the popular stereotype, “blue” doesn’t have to be associated with sadness and sensitivity. The traits; the need to feel unique, natural romantics, accepting others, and generally loyal, are some traits that really define being “blue”.
