In times of the past the United States has been under attack since 9/11/01 has been prevented around fifty times before they have happened. (Heritage, 2012). National security has become a major problem for so many people in the United States. Terrorism concerns have grown since the 9/11/01. Americans have found that people connected to Taliban, Islam, Afghanistan religions are linked together. The attack was a horrible occurrence that shouldn 't happen to them. Finding a stronger security from then on seemed more important finding how and where a growing interest was. Data was collected to find details about the attack. The legal rights of democracy within the United States had grown. National Security was threatening the government with their freedom being taken away. In October 26, 2001, the USA Patriot Act was put in to play 6 weeks after 9/11. The legislation decided that no further terrorist can have the likelihood of attacking again. The correct name of the law was “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing appropriate Tools required to intercept and obstruct terrorism Act” that congress approved. When this law was founded it had 150 parts and was connected to at least 15 federal laws that joined to criminal, computer scams, international intelligence, phone tapping, and immigration changes. Then it documented that any interaction would be checked out when the suspensions of terrorism. In the under section 214 and 216 provisioned can monitor phone calls with the location with any communications of criminal activity. Section 215 was authorize the government to obtain "any tangible thing" relevant to a terrorism investigation, even if there is no showing that the "thing" pertains to suspected terrorists or terrorist activities.
