George W. Bush: Failure as a President To be a successful President one needs to be committed to the country and do everything possible to keep the people happy. Being the President insures one to have political power, which is the ability of those in authority to induce members of the community to do what they want them to do (Ruypers, 444). Having such high authority allows one to maintain society and to be the voice of the people. George W. Bush is an American Politician who was the 43rd President, during the year 2000 he was elected and then again he was also re-elected him 2004 (Ruypers, 104). George W. Bush was born July 6th, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. In earlier years Bush’s father was also the President of the United States of America so that gave George W. Bush an advantage for when he was running to become President (Bio, 2013). This is an unfair advantage that sadly won over some people’s votes. The United States follows the democratic form of government in which the supreme power is retained by the people, but which is usually exercised indirectly through a system of representation and delegated authority periodically renewed (Ruypers 440). George. W. Bush was in authority and the people of America had to look up and listen to whatever he said. Through many proven events, George W. Bush has been proven a failure as President of the United States of America. These events consist of false accusations, not helping his people, failing the economy and failing to keep his people safe.
