An analysis of the Chinese fireworks industry revealed that most competitive fireworks manufacturers compete against each other in the same distribution channels. Small local workshops have a pricing advantage when selling to local whoesalers because of their use of lower quality materials, but larger manufacturers are also major suppliers to local wholesalers. Fewer small workshops sell to local governments accepting bids for large display fireworks or foreign importers and merchants, but almost all medium to larger sized manufacturers compete in these channels. As a result, each market segment is overcrowded with sets of primary competitors finding themselves locked into head-to-head competition within their own niche and only peripheral competition outside it. Each competitor offers deep discounts to gain market share and sales while constantly reanalyzing to determine constant repositioning opportunities. This conclusion is derived from a _______________ analysis. Selected Answer: c.…
