Pornhub's Unsurf By Condoms In Pornography
Despite sex being the core foundation of sites like Pornhub, pornography is not a good way to learn about intercourse. Not only does porn display an unrealistic portrayal of the act, but it negates any form of safety one should use. To further support this theory, here are five key facts about the industry.

1. PORNHUB USERS TURNED OFF BY CONDOMS

For whatever reason, there is some kind of psychological barrier put in place when it comes to condoms in porn. Pornhub does not have any videos with condoms because of this effect. People do not want to watch any kind of sex that involves a condom. It's not like the viewer is wearing one while he or she masturbates, but nonetheless, the facts don't lie. Condoms are a turn-off.

2. PORN HAS BEEN IGNORING THE AIDS EPIDEMIC

The AIDS epidemic hit hard in America but even though we are well over thirty years into it, the porn industry

PEOPLE WANT SEX WITH ABANDON

The sexual revolution may have peaked in the 1970's but it's ideals still ring true. People want to have sex with reckless abandon. Safety isn't sexy. Sexy is wild, risky and free. Watching a porn movie where someone takes the necessary precautions would not be too popular on Pornhub. Pornography is all about fantasy. In fantasy, safety isn't a concern.

4. THE INDUSTRY WILL NEVER CHANGE

Politicians and activists can make all the noise they want in regards to condoms in the porn industry but that is likely a losing battle. Stiles like Pornhub are part of a massive machine that generates more revenue than the NFL, MLB and NBA combined. Money is power and there is no way the sex industry will tone itself down and risk losing millions.

5. IT'S NOT REALISTIC

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, but pornography is not realistic. Entertaining, yes, but realistic it is not. Education is best left to the teachers and adult entertainers do not make the best teachers. So pick up a book, or better yet, ask your parents and watch them cringe with

After reading Phillip Jenkins’ article from Nerve.com, I am appalled that there are sick people in this world who actually enjoy “kiddie porn.” I have heard some horrible stories, but nothing quite like what Jenkins has mentioned in his article. Jenkins states, “if sexual fantasies, however grotesque, however unhealthy, can be made illegal, none of us are safe.” Jenkins cites specific examples such as videos of “kindergarten girls masturbating and giving blowjobs to adult men” along with many other examples to help support his thesis.…

What is the difference between an action and a porn movie? They are both something you can rent, buy , watch , they both come in the same video formats. Thus the key difference that deferentiates pornography is its content – sex. Sex is something that is absolutely normal , and actually is the main drive behind the human evolution. Human beings are aware that except for reproduction, sex is also something that brings pleasure and is one of the basic human needs. Than what defines a pornographic movie is that first of all it is a movie(its format) and second of all it has content (sex). Therefore if movies are morally accepted in the society, and sex itself is also a normal event between two(or more) human beings , combining two “moral” statements should bring us a conclusion that pornography is moral. Pornography is a product of choice. The increased demand for pornographic movies is picturing quite vividly that people choose to watch porn on their own will, and thus there is nothing immoral in it. Pornography as a job is also usually a personal choice and thus in the whole process of creating an adult movie all the parties are willingly consenting to participate , which again is not immoral because every person is entitled to the right of his or her own body.…

The logic and motivation behind this country’s mad dash to distribute free condoms in our public schools is ridiculous and misguided. Worse, the message conveyed by mass condom distribution is a disservice and borders on being lethal. Condom distribution sanctions, even encourages, sexual activity, which in teen years tends to be promiscuous and relegates to secondary status the most important lesson to be taught: abstinence. An analysis of the entire condom distribution logic also provides a glimpse into just what is wrong with public education today.…

When discussing the “XXX” industry, otherwise known as pornography or the adult film industry, people tend to discuss it in hushed tones, or rather not discuss it much at all. When it comes to sex in general, America generally is uncomfortable talking about sex and topics related to it. It should come as no surprise that the porn industry is treated in a similar fashion. Pornography, according to Sullivan, was considered “sexually 'explicit' writings, still or motion pictures and similar products designed to be sexually arousing,” (Sullivan, 2012, pg.321).…

According to the Center for Disease Control, there are approximately nineteen million new cases of sexually transmitted diseases reported every year. While this number seems astounding, it is more surprising that nearly half of those instances occur in the 15-25 year age group. Furthermore, nearly 300,000 unplanned teenage pregnancies arise mostly because of poor or no condom use (Ventura 53). Condom use has proven to be a very effective method to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, if condoms are used properly. Currently, there is much debate being stirred up as to whether or not condoms should be distributed in public school systems. While many look at the statistics in shock, and openly embrace the idea of offering free contraception to teenagers, there is a strong opposition as well. Those who stand against condom distribution believe that condom distribution is a way of promoting sexual activity, and believe in the teaching of abstinence-only education in the schools. The habits taught and promoted during teen years will be long lasting. Therefore, with proper education and the distribution of free contraception, there will be prevention of poor sexual behavior in that particular age group and, over time, in older age groups as well.…
