The Industrial Revolution is a major factor in why our nation is like it is today. We are a nation formed under capitalism, and the industrial revolution was the epitome of capitalism. It was the start of big business, big cities, and big pay checks for some. A lot of good things and some bad things came form the revolution. It seemed that a positive usually went hand in hand with a negative. Also the revolution made some people very rich but the change to the city nearly wiped them out. Even though there are pros and cons to many aspects of the revolution I believe that over all the Industrial Revolution was a positive thing; with the improvements in technology, new inventions, and the growing idea if you worked hard enough you could succeed.…

After making steel more accessible and cheap, thanks to the "Bessemer Method", this lead to the change of society. America went from farm lands into towns and big cities all with the invention of steel. The industrial revolution…

Life back then was purely about making through the day and ultimately surviving. Nature determined people’s lives and if you starved to death so did everyone else in your community. Soon enough, Britain was the first on its way to great success through the Industrial Revolution that kick started the fast moving wave of new and enhanced technology.…
Every morning, I wake up extremely early to get to the factory for work. Since I’m a young woman, I work in the textile part of the factory alongside other women, young and old. Pretty much everyone in this town works in the factory, and if they don’t, and if they’re a man, they probably work in the coal mine.
