The truth is, this worldview is not reasonable at all. God has given us all free will, but it doesn’t make all of our ideas and actions right. Absolute truth does exit. Without it there would not be one true and holy God. Two different thoughts on one situation can’t both be true. We don’t always know what the absolute truth is, but it does exist. What is strange about this worldview is that it only applies to certain areas in life. A postmodernist won’t argue that the sky is blue and the grass is green, but will argue about spiritual matters. We can’t change our truth based on what we think. If I think when I jump off a cliff that I won’t get hurt, it doesn’t change the fact that I will get hurt. When we decide that only our own ideas matter then there should be no consequences for our actions if we think that we had a good reason for acting a certain way. An officer wouldn’t let you out of a speeding ticket just because you didn’t think you were speeding. The absolute truth is that you were speeding. There is a fine line between right and wrong. There is no gray area with God. The Bible says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) It doesn’t say that all have sinned if they think they have sinned. That right there is an absolute. If we were able to make our own reality,
