Today we are faced with a problem, not just us but this issue goes worldwide. This isn’t a new problem but it’s an enduring one, the problem is poverty. Poverty is causing a lot of people to struggling dealing with everyday problems and situations in life all around the world. Pakistan is one country that is going through this problem and it has been increasing for the past few years. Pakistan is located in the Western part of the Indian subcontinent, with Afghanistan and Iran on the west, India on the east and the Arabian Sea on the south. Poverty is widespread in Pakistan and it is predominantly in the rural areas. Almost two thirds of the population and 80 percent of the country’s poor people live in the rural parts of the country. Poverty leads to many other problems; you can basically say that it is the main root to the rest of the branches. Poverty is led into three main social problems in Pakistan; illiteracy, electric crisis and health issues. All of this is affecting Pakistan and is creating a problem for everyone in the country, making his or her every day’s life complicated and harder to manage.
(There are four determinants that make Pakistan poor, each having its own significant reasons. It all starts off with its geography, demography, technology and most importantly economics. As stated earlier, Pakistan is situated in the western part of the Indian subcontinent. It is twice the size of California. The climate is mainly hot and dry, and this gives a lot of people a hard time, especially those who can’t afford air conditioners or fans and those who are homeless, they are left to rot in the burning sun. Pakistan’s population is around 190,291,129 people and half of these people are poor. Its growth rate is 1.551%, birth rate 24.3 births/1,000 populations and the death rate is 6.8 deaths/1,000 populations. This might not seem important but it is, for instance the birth rate is high and there are more poor people in Pakistan,
