The Role of Teenagers in the Society Should Strengthen
“Miracles can happen when young people get together” these were the words said by Jeanne Sauvé, the former governor general of Canada. Today, I, take the honour to be able to stand in front of you, respected government officials and speak for the roles and rights of teenagers in the society to be strengthen. So before I put forth my opinion on this topic, I would like to ask you, who are these teenagers? Do you think they are the ones who only told alcohol bottles in the hand and cigarette in their mouth? Are they the one who only break rules and disobey the law? Are they the ones who only disrespect elders and act abusive? No, my countrymen, as every coin as two sides, they have a different side too. They are the very first ones stand against any wrong that is being suffered by the citizens of the country, they are the first ones to provide a helping hand to the needy; they are the first ones to stand for their rights and their fellow citizens.
The youth is the greatest strength and wealth of any nation. They are the future of our nation and hence, the quality of the youth will determine the kind of future our nation will have. Hence, in order to experience a brighter future, we first need to empower the youth. To add, 34% of our population is composed of the youth and if we can gear up this powerhouse of the country in the correct way then our country can achieve incomparable heights. However, the first and foremost step we need for this to happen is to provide the youth the correct form of education. The right kind of education given to the teenagers can help them be more self-respecting, honest, open-minded and logical. Moreover, until and unless the youth does not have these virtues they won’t be able to walk in the light of glory. Moreover, psychiatrist say that “the amount of enthusiasm, energy and zeal the youth have they can work wonders for the country. Though if this is not trapped or harnessed
