Chapter I: Introduction

1.1. Background of the Problem

A payroll system is an application that is used in businesses of any size. These system is created to make sure that the payroll of the employee is done on time and in agreement with all taxing authorities. Tracking of hours of work of the employees is one of a vital factors in working environment. Some business are using manual payroll of the salaries of their employee. Although this method is good, it is so tedious and time consuming. That is the problem when you use manual payroll. We are now in the era of advance technologies. We can use modern technology to develop old methods into new ones. We can use computers now to compute the payroll of our employees. By implementing this method, we can compute salaries more efficient and accurate.
