Precision Learning Patterns Analysis
In this scenario I was somewhat like Cassie last week. I didn’t know what to do. I had a situation where I had to choose between getting two discussion assignments done or tending to my father, who just had his second hemorrhagic stroke. I chose to deal with my father. In this case I think I used more of my Precision learning pattern, because I kept telling myself that I would have time to get my assignments done when I got home. But that was not the case, my body and brain was so exhausted that I could not even begin to tell you how I drove an hour to get home it was all a huge blur. I Cassie’s situation she was really trapped in the Precision learning pattern. She had a schedule to help her get her work done but when it came to the assignment

Classical conditioning - Before attachment is learned, the infant gains pleasure through being fed. Food is the unconditioned stimulus and pleasure is the unconditioned response. When the infant is being fed, the infant associates the person providing the food with the food. The primary caregiver is the neutral stimulus, which becomes associated with food (the unconditioned stimulus). When the attachment has been learned, the infant gains pleasure when the primary caregiver is present. The primary caregiver is now the conditioned stimulus and pleasure is now the conditioned response.…

The first and most important skill to becoming a successful adult learner is to have a plan of action. By just knowing what you have to do, you have already won half the battle. In a journal called Time Managemnt Training and Perceived Control of Time at Work by Hafner, creating a plan can be referred to as planning behavior and according to the article planning behavior, “refers to the decisions about which tasks to perform, how these tasks should be prioritized, and how to deal with possible distractions, especially when one has to perform several tasks simultaneously.” In order to acquire this planning behavior or help create a plan of action I have come up with a three step…

In the play, Antigone, is a character by the name of Antigone who is a daughter of a former king. She has a strong moral character and the will to accomplish anything. According to chapter two I learned that I am a fixed performance learner. I realized this from the quotes on page 15. "You interrupted my thinking'" and " Where possible, we try to avoid challenging tasks in which we might struggle and make mistakes, and thus provide evidence of our incompetence.” I chose this quote because while I was reading this I connected to it. There would be times where I was thinking of something I was doing and someone interrupted me in my thought process.…

Reading “Dan as a Learner” is my life. But the confidents isn’t because I put my all in to an assignment. I would call it “me time” when I drift of in entertaining myself when I know I suppose to be focusing on my assignments. It is gratifying when I am doing and accomplishing them. Dan and I can be more successful by scheduling at time and setting an alarm. One of the learning patterns he should focus on using is Sequence. He can create a to-do list where he can fill his needs to stimulate his mind so he can not feel the need to seek out entertainment. Second would be Confluence learning pattern, just like the sports entertainment show and athletes, recognize the effort need to get where they are and apply that attitude toward school.…

Sorana Constantinescu facilitated an insightful lecture and discussion. This discussion was based on her experimental findings while researching the misogynistic attitudes in Romanian women. From this discussion I was able to gather that this country has communist ideology that has been very deeply ingrained into the culture and the mindset of the Romanian population. With these ideologies being so deeply ingrained within the society it has hindered the country's progress when it comes to facilitating the discussion for gender equality along the lines of the political and social spectrum. The…

My preferred receptive learning style is the read/write because when reading and writing, I get an easier way to learn things faster with true information. While reading, I can write short summaries of what I just learned in the reading which makes it easier to remember what paragraphs I got my information from. I totally agree with my results, it has taught me that I am able to take good notes that will help me get a better understanding of the readings. Also, the textbook gave great tips that would help me better my skills that I have and gain new skills. The first tip could be managing my time efficiently so that I can learn as much information as I could so that in life experiences I would be able to use them. The textbook made me realize…
