Analysing my research I found the difference between MOSCHINO, Love MOSCHINO (MOSCHINO brand have changed the name of its youth line, MOSCHINO Jeans, established in 1987 for Love MOSCHINO) and MOSCHINO Cheap and Chic. The MOSCHINO, LOVE MOSCHINO and MOSCHINO Cheap&Chic have different prices, competitors and consumers, but what they have in common is Franco Moschino, which considered himself a communicator and once he told-"Fashion should be fun and it should send a message". He combined clothes and accessories with graphics-happy faces, hearts and messages. These ideas are now reflected in the main collections of MOSCHINO, LOVE MOSCHINO and MOSCHINO Cheap&Chic.…

The consumer electronics industry is associated with rapid growth, leaps in innovation and fierce competition. LG’s attempt to release their latest technology, the Watch Phone, is crucial in order to secure their current position as one of the dominant market leaders. With a well-integrated and effective marketing plan, LG has the potential to change the market with a product that resembles a high-end timepiece in addition to the full functionality of a smart phone. After already having launched the product in Europe, LG is now faced with the task of expanding the device’s market to include Canada.…

After a successful launch of the LG Watch Phone in Europe, LG Electronics Canada, Inc. is preparing to introduce The Watch Phone to Canada. As an assistant marketing manager I will aid in the development and execution of a niche marketing plan that blends with LG’s 51 years of brand equity while increasing market share in consumer electronics. No other watch phone currently exists in the Canadian market. The market is saturated with mobile phones and portable electronic devices that have 3G capability, a touch screen interface, MP3 player and video calling. LG must entice consumers to switch from their handsets to the LG Watch Phone and generate sales from new markets. Potential customers for this product will be educated, youthful and upwardly mobile: young Baby Boomers (aged 45-49), Gen Xers (aged 30-44), and older Gen Yers (specifically, the ages of 25-29). These consumers will make product, price and carrier plan comparisons between the higher-end handsets: Samsung Omnia; BlackBerry Tour; and Apple iPhone.…

    Social Clock

Early models of adult development sometimes assumed that marriage is a requisite life task for full adulthood. Stage models posited a linear set of stages that people progressed through over the course of a lifetime. The concept of the social clock describes societal expectations for the time at which people are expected to marry, have children, and accomplish other life tasks. What are the implications of these expectations for the ways in which people who are single are viewed at different ages? For example, are people who have always been single viewed more negatively when they are middle-aged adults than when they are young adults? What are their actual experiences? That is, do older people who have always been single fare any differently in terms of health or well-being than people who are married or who once were married? There was something daunting about constantly looking at a grandfather clock, at least to Cadence. Why couldn’t she stop watching it? When she looked at it, as if it were an enigma, that question arose—and for good reason. It wasn’t like she hadn’t noticed it before; quite the opposite, really. What made it so attractive, so compelling to the eye? Was it the crystal casing, the shiny lustre on it, the gold hands? Or was it the shimmering crescent moon pendulum, which had a star attached to it? Or was it the fact that it told time differently, unlike other clocks—as ambiguous as that sounds. If anything, the grandfather clock was the first thing Cadence noticed when she had first stepped foot in Twilight’s guest chamber; how could she not? It…

Individual discrimination involves negative attitudes and beliefs that people hold about specific race/gender group/ethnic etc. The assumption that a certain race, gender group is intellectually inferior or incapable of certain achievements. (DeVito, 2013) I went on a vacation in Africa with white friends and I realized that every place we went I was treated different by those that offered us services; because most people in Africa think that all white tourists have a lot of money and usually the black people with them are their tour guides. At one time we went to a Casino which had a dress code; they went in first because while I was trying to find a parking space, when I tried to get in the Casino, I was stopped by the security because I was wearing shorts, but all my other white friends were wearing shorts as well and nobody stopped them, when I asked why I was stopped, one of the security guys explained to me that white people spend more money and they were an exception to the rule. I called my friends and explained to them what had happened and we went somewhere else. For the record I had more money than all these guys but the security guys stereotyped me, something that see everywhere in our daily lives…
