Although, all of us are sometimes a victim of prejudice, most of the ones that are most affected are not of white descent; they are from a minority group which eventually leads us to discrimination against these individuals. One example, is when a person of Latino descent is vying for a higher paying position such as a Manager of a fortune 500 job position, and a Caucasian person lands the position due to their ethnical background not their experience; or abilities to perform the job. While prejudice is so common these days, many people don’t realize that their feelings towards another race could actually be considered prejudice. That’s why it got me wondering, am I prejudice; and if so in what way? But after taking the “Am I Prejudiced” quiz on (pg. 83), it eliminated my worst fears as to my opinions and views of others that was placed within this classification; and my results were not surprising at all. Actually it was what I expected, that my opinions of minority groups is quite the opposite of what prejudice stands for; for my immediate circle includes all group regardless of
