Preschool Analysis
At first I was nothing. Then through my brain and schooling a fire started. My fire had many contributors. My preschool and its impact in my thinking was the heat. The books and websites are the fuel. And my selective memory was the oxygen. All these helped me learn in a lot of my free time and gave me a very important attribute that has helped me do a lot of other things, determination. It all started back when I was about four inches. My brain was developing from the instructions called the genome. With my luck (something I don’t believe in including probability, unless on a quantum level but I have yet confirm because of my limited knowledge and the lack of books, but will include the word to help relate to people. And as most start to mold at this level, I as all started here too, preschool. I went to a Montessori preschool. These types of schools are based around independent learning and go at your own pace. This aspect is something I wish schools would implement, but I will get to that subject later. The school closely resembled the model. There were little trays with puzzles and school activities we could choose to do, usually this time took up most of the day. There were few group projects, but were in there to give a sense of other people and teaching it always isn’t about you. I feels like how the school is run describes my personality. I am an introvert and like to do things alone. I learned things that most learned in first grade. I learned basic math, the body parts, the continents, and was given my first taste of books. They read aloud chapter books, but I don’t know if it actually registered in my brain. As I went on to kindergarten, things changed. I had a slight advantage, but it quickly diminished while I went along with the class. The distance that I gained was gone and it looks like the only thing I gained was my personality, but as I went on in life it taught me another important lesson, but I will also get to that

    D5&B1- It is important to phone the placement and check where the placement is and ask for directions if you are not sure, so that you will not get lost and be late to placement, which means also checking what time you have to arrive to placement because parents also make judgements on observations they make briefly, good first impressions reassure them. Also even arrange a pre-visit so then you will know where the placement is ready for whenever you start and discuss the things you need to know. Checking the dress code is very important because you will need to look presentable and be identified as a student and not a staff member. Also checking what equipment you need to bring with you to placement is important so you can carry on with what your expected to do and so that you are organised, also so that you are respected as an individual that cares, hardworking, so may be given extra responsibilities which leads to greater learning and enjoyment in placement. It’s very important you ask who you go to for advice/per-diaries so that you feel confident you can speak to someone when you feel the need to, and get your per-diaries filled out when due to.     When I got to the age I could start school, I was excited. I started school like any other kids my age did. Kindergarten through first grade were fun for me. Second grade came and that is when things started happening that I did not like, and third grade I absolutely hated. I was being bullied and was ignored by teachers.     I set up an appointment with the Kids Club daycare at 9:45 am on November 4th to observe for an hour of toddler classroom who were between three and four years old. The principle gave me a warm greeting and took me to the class and introduced me to the teachers and the children. Everyone there made me feel welcomed.
