Job 2011) satisfaction: Job satisfaction is the positive feeling one has about one’s job (Robbinson and Judge 2005). Spector
(cited in Abdulla, Djebarni and Mellahi 2011 p 127) said that job satisfaction refers to “the degree to which people like their jobs”.
Job performance?
It is the accomplishment of a given task which is measured against pre-set known standards.

“Intrinsic motivation refers to the motivation that comes from the performance of an activity for no apparent reinforcement other than the process of performing the activity per se” (Teo et al., 1999).
Extrinsic Motivation
This is motivation that comes from “the performance of an activity because it is perceived to be instrumental in achieving valued outcomes that are distinct from the activity itself” (Teo et al.,
