President Roosevelt: The Negative Effects Of The Great Depression
The great depression had such a negative effect on the people who lived during the time President Roosevelt had to step in to help end it. President Roosevelt proposed “The New Deal, an unprecedented number of reforms addressing the catastrophic effects of the Great Depression” (“The New Deal”). he believed it would end the negative impact it had on the people. He also put together a brain trust “a group of university scholars and liberal theorists.” (“The New Deal”).
Several people affected by the Great Depression lost their jobs and all dependable income because of the loss people had to stretch every dollar (“Hastings”). Their everyday items would slowly drift away they would only turn on a light once every day if they even turned
