University of Nebraska hires new Assistant Public Relations Director
LINCOLN, Neb., Feb. 8, 2013– The University of Nebraska has hired Tyler Rohde on Feb. 8, 2013 in Lincoln, Neb. To replace Shamus McKnight who left for the same position at the University of Miami in Miami, Fla. Tyler Rohde will replace Shamus McKnight as the associate media relations director on March 1, 2013.

“I am pleased to welcome our newest member, Tyler Rohde, to our media relations department at the University of Nebraska,” said Assistant Athletic Director/Media Relations Director Keith Mann. “Tyler will be a great addition to the department as our Football Director.
Tyler Rohde was born and raised in Wyo. And served in the United States Navy. After leaving the service, Tyler worked a few years before attending Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb. Graduating in Dec. 2012 with a degree in Sport Management. Tyler conducted his internship for four months at the University of Nebraska at Omaha as an assistant public relations director.
