Albert and Victoria were very much in love, but Victoria hated being pregnant. She especially hated the fact that it took away her power of queen and gave more responsibilities to Albert. Victoria also hated breastfeeding, finding it “disgusting.” Victoria was a harsh and unaffectionate mother, and none of her children particularly liked her. She had major mood swings and always had a favorite. She never let them go; she had a system of spies to keep an eye on them. One the other hand, Albert enjoyed his kids very much and loved spending time with them.
Though all her relations with her kids weren’t the best, Victoria especially didn’t get along with Albert, or “Bertie”, as he was called.
