The Queen of Heart, Prince Diana

“Everyone needs to be valued. Everyone has the potential to give something back if only they had the chance.” Diana was born in 1961 as the third daughter of Edward John Spencer and Frances Roche. Diana grew up in a very privileged family linked to royal family. In 1969, when Diana was young, her parents divorced. She went to boarding school at the age of 8 in Switzerland. Diana wasn't an excellent student but she had a great personality. When Diana's paternal grandfather passed away in 1975, Diana's father became the 8th Earl of Spencer and Diana gained the title of "Lady." After Lady Diana moved to London, She worked with children at young England kindergarten as a teacher. At that time she was the most famous person in the world. She appeared on the cover of magazines more than anyone else. At the same time, Lady Diana was the new royal person who admired for her charity works. She was the first that touching someone with AIDS in front of the cameras. She made a huge impact on public that AIDS could not contracted by touch. Another service to the world was her presence in the campaign to ban landmines. She played an important role in banning the use of anti-personal landmines. She opened a hospital too.After a while, she found place in public heart. They loved her. So media followed her everywhere she went. In 1981, Diana married Prince Charles. They were like a fairytale couple in modern world. About 750 million people around the world watched it on television. But unfortunately they didn't live happy ever after and separated in 1996 with two children Prince William and Prince Harry. Although she tried to maintain a positive public person, she passed the hardest time of her life. She suffered from depression and also she was ignored by royal family because of her separation. They had official patterns of her image made so that when she got older it would still be the same beautiful, young lady (Richards). In the pictures you can see she is always dressed to kill. Elizabeth would wear many jewels, to bedazzle her people. She would wear colors to enhance her hair, even when she died, her wardrobe lived on (Orlandi). Queen Elizabeth would be projected as a goddess on earth, in some cases she is (Scott). In modern society we still talk about her and the way she left a lasting impact.
