adopted into a family and created “Grand Central”, his first band. They performed in clubs and local venues. He was signed to Warner Bros. by the age of 19. Prince has recorded over 30 albums sold more than 30 million records worldwide. In his musical compositions, he writes about how he feels and not afraid to express himself. The aftershocks of the era he was born into were always applied in his music. Warner Bros. gave him a three album deal with creative control. His first major release was, “For You” which hit shelves in 1978. Despite his raunchy reputation, Prince was a conservative Christian who once went door to door proselytizing on behalf of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The Minneapolis-born bad boy converted to Jehovah in 2001 and later, in an interview with the New Yorker, he described reactions he got spreading the good word.
Prince has influenced artists from pop to jazz. The modern music world would not be the way it is without Prince. All artist owes it to him for their influences from him. He fulfilled his way to enormous hardworking achievements. He will forever be remembered by his friends and family.
