Princess Zelda-Personal Narrative
You all are very lucky to be here today as I am about to reveal to you guys a secret about me that I have been keeping to myself for as long as I can remember. I have a condition. Now I’m not exactly sure what the scientific name is or if it even technically exists but every once in a while I take an involuntary break from running things on the SS. I’ll say something like “I really ought to work on that super important persuasive speech.” To which Lazy Carl counters “Yeah, but Princess Zelda is not going to save herself and let’s face it: the powers of Evil sure as heck aren’t taking the day off.” Or; “I really need to go to FHE this week. …show more content…
Now, I’m not saying that Lazy Carl is a bad guy, but he is a crutch. And not the good kind of “I just broke my ankle” crutch but the bad kind of “Oh no. I just watched six straight hours of The Office” kind of crutch. He’s like junk food for the

As part of our school's community service program,I volunteered at a family with a down syndrome child. For two years, I went to help the Jablons every Thursday right after school.I helped out with a variety of things including homework, bathing the little ones, and physical therapy with Nesanel. Sometimes it seemed as though I was on the giving end, however I was really the receiver. I have learned so much from Nesanel. From his precious smile, his determination, and his love for others. Nesanel loves friends. He doesn't discriminate between people from different backrounds or color. Nesanel is truly special. Working with him and his siblings has given me a new outlook on…

Most of the time procrastination isn’t always a bad thing. It could be good if you use your time wisely and think of good ideas. But on the other hand, it could be bad because, if you just sit around and do absolutely nothing. If you manage your time carefully, you would get done a lot faster and easier. As said in sentence 8, “Dr. Perry generously acknowledges that he has stood on the shoulders of iants, in particular Robert Benchley , the Algonquin Round Table Member. In 1930, Benchley revealed how he mustered the willpower to pore through scientific magazines and build a bookshelf when an article was due.”…

Once I tried talking to a friend of mine and she wasn’t replying, next thing I know my phone is going off, she had texted me her response. Looking back on it now I remember my guardian getting me a phone because she didn’t want to hear me talk, serves her right, I still talk, though I do love having my music and you-tube on here. I love Disney princesses. They were always fun and adventurous. I had one problem though, none of them ever looked like me. Several of them looked like my friends, but not me. When my mom showed me The Princess and the Frog, I immediately fell in love with Princess Tiana. I admire Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog because she is hard-working, loyal, and determined.…

Football has always been a big part of my life. As a young boy I would day dream of making insane touchdowns, making tackles that would leave man stuck in the ground, and even winning the heisman trophy. In 7th grade I had begged my mother endlessly to sign me up for pee wee football because she would always worry about the risks of football. After finally getting her to sign me up, we went straight into the season. I chose to play running back because as a 12-year-old I was remarkably fast having timed 5.3 in the 40 yard-dash. After a few weeks in the season we approached the playoffs and found out our opponent for the first round of the playoffs were the jaguars who were undefeated. Our team didn’t have the best chemistry on…

Traveling into the Indian Territory, we were being angrily chased down by three Indians furiously shouting at us. Dashing through the thick forest, the savage Indians were throwing spears and shooting arrows that narrowly missed us. Although neither Gideon nor I was mortally injured, I did suffer from a nick from an arrow piercing near my ear. Thankfully, a group of burly fur traders approached from the side, which frightened the Indians to run away. Acknowledging that Gideon and I were inexperienced travelers in the west, they offered us protection in exchange for some valuable possessions. As a consequence, knowing that they were our best alternative for survival, we gave them our antique gold pocket watches and assumed the identities of novice fur traders. From that point on, we followed them through the west and adopted their skills for efficiently hunting animals and keeping warm in the harsh, cold weather. During one of our rest points, we approached a large Cherokee settlement located in Park Hill in which our group leader was friends with the Cherokee leader John Ross.…

“We all have doubts about ourselves, sometimes. It’s part of what makes us examine ourselves and all that we do. And without that we become nothing short of monsters.” Princess Leia from the star wars franchise has been a very inspirational role model for me from a young age. Sure it might sound a little nerdy but it has great meaning to me. In my life when I was 11 years old my parents got in a divorce so finishing up 4th grade I moved to a completely different school in Kimberly, Idaho. We spent two years at that school and I found out that I really enjoyed art and then we moved to rigby to live with my uncle for the summer. Luckily we moved back so I got a little more time with those friends and their art program, but in the middle of that year my great grandma was dying so we moved again to my grandparent’s house to help them with my great grandma. It was very hard to move to a new school in the middle of the year so I didn’t make any friends for a while. Eventually I did make…

I was apart of an Internet group full of women. I was browsing the posts when I came across a fascinating woman and I clicked on her photo. My Person was sitting next to me when he said, “who is that?!” So I clicked on her profile and viewed her photos with him. We looked through pictures of The Violinist. “Wow. She is absolutely stunning.” He said. I agreed. At the time, My Person and I were no longer in a relationship. I wanted space while he was desperately trying to cling onto what little of a relationship we had left. So, without his consent, I wrote her a message with his pictures and a short bio asking her to go on a blind date with him. She said she was in a relationship but it was rocky. I don’t know what possessed me to do this. It just felt…

Most teenagers do not have a clue about what they want to be when they grow up. Most young adults also do not know where their path is in life. Even some full-blown adults are still trying to figure out their purpose. I was lucky. I knew exactly where I belonged from about the time I was seven up until now, at the decently young age of nineteen. I do not see my path changing anytime soon; in fact, I know it will never change. But, I did not just wake up one day as a child and know what my path was, while that would be impressive. Defining moments in one’s life defines who they are. There were lots of things I experienced in my life that made me realize my purpose, my absolute passion. I had four of these defining moments in my short span of…
