I believe that currently the best thing I can do to rectify the problem is to increase awareness by posting on social media or simply talking to my friends about it. You never hear people ranting about how bad private prisons are. You never hear about protests against private prisons. If the public could get worked up enough about this injustice it could facilitate the passing of laws to make private prisons safer or to get rid of them all together. In conclusion, brazen private companies like CoreCivic and GEO group are committing major injustices against their employees and prisoners to make money, all they while rapidly proliferating,growing stronger and more involved in our justice system. It is of paramount importance that we surmount this growing problem quickly, in order to spare as many people as possible, and to disentangle the justice system from these pompous
