Privilege: Video Analysis

Privilege. Privilege to me is the ability to do/have things that others are not allowed to. When the video started, and I started to see the exercise being done; I instantly thought of not too along where I had to do this exercise here at EOP. Watching it simply made me relive my experience. I thought of my position in the end, and how that made me feel. One of the participants shared the same experience with me and said that they were frustrated to see how many people were behind them, and that not much could fix the gap between you and your peer. I personally do consider myself as privileged, but not as privileged as others. My mother has made different sacrifices in order for me to live a “privileged” lifestyle, but with those sacrificed
