Pro-Social behavior refers to a voluntary action or activity carried out by an individual or group of people that is intended to benefit another person or group of people. Pro-social behaviors are aimed at building and improving relationships and as such they help the society function in a proper way while also adding to its social capital. They depict a non-caring attitude and even when the child screams louder they still walk away. These people don’t want to get involved in the situation and would rather not take the blame or even the least help the young girl (The Today Show).
