Executive Summary
The business plan is based on a new software called Smartbooth and we intent in incorporating with the Carnival Cruise Lines (CCL) cruise ships. In the past few years there has been many changes in the service market. The most significant one would be the applicability of technology which benefits both guests and service providers. Since technology is evolving rapidly it is important for companies to keep up with the market trends. Our company has developed an innovative software which would aid Carnival Cruise Lines in achieving a competitor advantage.
Cruise Smart LTD is a highly respected software development company. The company is made up by seven members where four are in management position and three are employed staff. The companies’ vision is to become the number one market leaders in software innovation.
The software will serve as both a point of sale system and an informational device. It can be physically explained as cruise informational kiosks with a built in LCD touch screen and credit card system. Guest will be able to navigate themselves around the ship and receive direct information of current and future activities. In addition to this through our software, guests will be able to make reservations for restaurants and activities they find interesting and via the credit card system make direct payment on the chosen activities.
The software is assured to generate an increase of both revenue and customer involvement for CCL.
Carnival Corporation has not been on the market for a long while however Carnival Cruise Line has been on the market since 1972. The 24 ships operating the 3 to 18 day voyages are known for being
