Profession Essay
In life there are many paths with different turns that you are able to make but its up to you to make the right decisions. Making a choice in what you want to be when you grow up is hard. There are various careers that a person can choose from, but before you can get to that phase theirs steps you have to take and that begins with school. We all start from going to elementary and don’t ever finish because were always learning something new everyday day.
Elementary was a great experience for me. Thats how it all begun with me learning how to speak bad write English was a great experience. It was hard but I was able to do it thanks to my parents and my cousin who is more like a sister to me. Junior high came and then it was time to skip to a step further and go to high school. I was focused on trying to get A’s and B’s only, but all the essays and test got harder and harder each year. Junior year had to be one of the most difficult year that I had gone through. Not only was I playing volleyball but I was also concentrating more on the sport than on my studies that caused me to fail physics second semester. Getting closer to senior year I started looking into the career I wanted ti focus on and what I wanted to major in.Senior year got is here and I had chosen to get into the medical field. The medical field interested me very much because we get to help people and even save their lives. Its not only those things that mattered to me but also I want to make my parents proud and show them that no matter how hard it can get I can get it done. For me to take that big step to become the person I want to be I have take many classes that don’t focus specifically on the medical field. As a senior I am trying to get ready for college and I am seeing what classes I need to take before I start focusing on the career that I want to dedicate my life too. Im taking a step forward and already am taking college English as a senior. It has been a difficult class since the beginning of the year but it is helping me and teaching me on how college is actually going to be. Its not comparable to high school. Teachers give you more days if you were absent or if you need those extra days but in college they give you a due date and when the date approaches the essay, homework, or extra work is due that day otherwise its not going to be accepted.
The steps that I am taking to get there are many of them. I have been researching colleges and community colleges that I would be able to get in and I have been looking in their studies and what majors they have. It is hard because you still in high school but on the other side you are looking at colleges and putting in applications and looking at the requirements you need to get accepted. There are test you have to take to get into a university like the SAT and ACT. I have taken both and have send them to a few colleges. My first SAT score was low; I didn’t expect to score that low so I decided to retake it. It took practice classes online and in school to help me get a better understanding at the test. Retaking it the second time felt more easier because of the practice and thanks to the people that helped me I got a reasonable score that universities would accept.
In the medical field there are various careers but I want to focus on one which is being a pediatrician. When I first heard of it I thought it was a great choice for me because I love children. I enjoy helping them and most of all making them feel better if there sick or they have disease I would be able to treat them and that’s what I want to do. To get to being that person I wan to enroll into a four year college and if I stay at top of my studies I would love to graduate from Texas State in 2016. During those four years of college I am going to go to nearby clinics and hospitals to help out and see how the job is actually done. Doing this will help me get a job as a nurse first and then keep getting a higher position until I get to being a pediatrician.
Its up to you to decide what you want to be in the future and what examples you are going to follow. Its going to be hard but the best thing to do is to never give up because if your never going to get to the person you wanted to be. You’re never going to stop learning because each day something new is invented and it might include changing stuff from your carrer.

It's a person's choice of which path they want to take in the future but without help they can choose the wrong path. As Dr. Seuss said in his poem" I'm sorry to say so but, sadly, it's true and Hang-ups can happen to you." My Perspective is that careers is a very important course in high school because it helps students discover their skills and choose the right career. Careers will show kids how to create and do different aspects of getting a job and starting a career. It will let them explore the different opportunities for them in the future and educate them to choose the career best for them. In…

Before starting this project I knew very little about what it takes to be a professional DJ, so while I work on this project I will be learning new skills and how to manage a DJ business. My mentor is known to the DJ community as DJ Outlaw; he has been a DJ for the last twenty years and has done over 3,000 gigs. anagerial communication is different from other kinds of communication. Why? Because in a business or management setting, the most brilliant message in the world will do you no good unless you achieve your desired outcome. Therefore, instead of thinking of communication as a straight line from a sender to a receiver, visualize communication as a circle, as shown below, with your success based on achieving your desired response. To get that desired audience response, you need to think strategically about your communication—before you start to write or speak. Strategic communication is based on five interactive variables: (1) communicator (the writer or speaker) strategy, (2) audience strategy, (3) message strategy, (4) channel choice strategy, and (5) culture strategy. These variables may affect one another; for example, your audience analysis affects your communicator style, your channel choice may affect your message, and the culture may affect your channel choice.…

The reason for school is to get an education. But what is that? Some say to get a better career and make more money or become smarter in general. But the main reason that school was invented was to teach children to read and write. That is it. After students were able to read and write then came the math, history, and science. Growing up I loved learning how to read and write, but to a certain degree. After I got pretty good at reading and writing, which I’d say took until 4th grade to be able to write essays well and read at a high level, teachers would assign reading and writing assignments on the stupidest subjects. For an example cursive writing was the biggest waste of energy I…

Before tenth grade, school had come easily to me. I could excel in my classes without having to work hard or often even study outside of class. This changes when I began taking AP Biology with a group of seniors. Having no biology base prior to this class, I was stretched. I had to learn how to study and discover how I learned best. Through much struggle I was able to grow as a student and as a human being. I learned what working hard in school meant and began to see that having good grades and high personal merit was of great personal value to me. That is not to say that this class was without its struggles. There were many moments were I learned something new, sometimes the hard way, but growth was always present. The skills that I cultivated through this course…

As I got older and got into high school, things got really ugly my freshman year. Hanging out with the wrong crowd changed my whole perspective on school and how I should apply my knowledge to school work. I can honestly say that my highest grade was probably a C out of the whole year. The beginning of my life changing didn’t take place till my sophomore year when I met my older cousin who decided to be hard on me in school. Part of that was him keeping me into football and other sports he thought I would be good in. It wasn’t till junior year in high school where I really took football…
