With all the 5 elements of the professional practice model of nursing at Children Hospital of Colorado, I really like the first element because of the pledge. Having the pledge is a way of promising to your patient that you will provide the fullest quality care for them, which I think it provides a safe comfort to them knowing that they will receive a good care the moment they step into the hospital.
