What is it that makes her different from many other girls on this planet? This intelligent and beautiful girl is about six feet tall and always has a smiling face which portrays her joy and happiness each day. She has brown eyes, blond hair and a pointed noise. She is fair in complexion and has a great sense of humor. She is smart and always wants to help others to be more than who she is, She is studying English education at Brigham Young University-Idaho. So, how come this gentle heart girl is different from many other girls with regard to how she was able to overcome her past, and then have a new desire to help others to be better than her. Kate remembers her mother been there for her always when she was struggling with some health and psychological problem when she was about six years old. She sacrificed her time, career and money to help feel like every other kid. “The greatest influence in my life during my childhood was definitely my mom. She was always around and was my teacher because I was homeschooled,” Kate said. She was a special kid that did not have her elementary education in a normal school that there were a lot of people to hang around with. The only person she had to hang around during her home school hours was her mother, since all her other siblings were all going to school outside their home.
“ A typical day in my childhood consisted of being homeschooled and working on assignments at home, going to my grandma’s house and hanging out with my cousins, taking care of our pets, and doing chores,” said Kate. As a result of this, she has no idea what it means to a have friend outside the
