Profile Your Audience Before Writing a Message
1. Explain why is it important to analyze a communication situation in order to define your purpose and profile your audience before writing a message. the most important aspect of developing and writing your message that is Knowing your audience age, gender education level, religion, language and culture. Analyzing your audience will help discover information to create a link to establish common ground between you and the audience. Try to take the feedback of the audience immediately. The reflect of attitude to the topic either is a positive or negative evaluation of people, objects, event, activities, ideas, or just about anything in the environment. 2. List the factors to consider when choosing the most appropriate medium for a message. Define separately for oral, written and visual communication?
In choosing communication medium, factors that must be considered should include:
-the nature of the message. the targeted audience.-
Technology.-
-Timing.
"Communication is any behavior that leads to the exchange of information between two or more people, and by mutual understanding between the sender and the receiver . This information may be data or ideas or anything else that has a relationship between the sender and the receiver. "
Oral communication:
. implies communication through mouth. It's communication between two people or more sender and receiver using language and includes words and phrases indicate to useful meaning . individuals conversing with each other, be it direct conversation or telephonic conversation. Speeches, presentations, discussions are all forms of oral communication. so
Written communication :
Written communication is one of the most official contacts Either traditional methods (on paper) or modern methods of electronic computers. writing is more unique and formal than speech. Effective writing involves careful choice of words, their organization in correct order in sentences formation Also, writing is more valid and reliable than speech. visual communication :
Any image that is used to communicate an idea, whether it's a sign, poster, drawing, photograph or television advertisement, can be included in the field of visual communications.
