PROJECT CONTEXT Church is a religious ministry wherein people worship and connect to God. Discipleship is the act of practicing life into that of Jesus while learning to love one another. A ministry started out with the combination of Church and Discipleship. “Be Transformed” JCSGO focuses their mission in building a church that can help in transforming people to be closer to God through the idea of discipleship while having a harmonious relationship to every member at the same time. [2]The ministry of Jesus Christ Saves Global Outreach started in 1980 as a bible study group of 7 couples. It was Jonathan & Vicky Sebastian who was led by the Lord to facilitate. The group evolved as the LOVE CIRCLE ministry and their first venue was at the assembly hall of the Philippine Heart Center for Asia in East Avenue, Quezon City. In the latter part of the existence of the ministry, Pastor Jeffrey Layugan decided to create a JCSGO branch in Better Living, Parañaque City. They started with 50 members and having no permanent place of worship. After two years, the ministry of JCSGO Parañaque began to expand into four districts as well as an increase in the number of members. As of now, they already have 15 churches established in different locations around Luzon. District 1 is composed of Marcos Highway, Pasig, Manila and Marikina. Moreover, District 2 covers Taguig, Las Piñas and Alabang. Furthermore, District 3 has Pasay, Cavite and Moonwalk. Lastly, District 4 being the biggest outreach is comprised of Better Living, Makati, Kalayaan, Laguna and Malabon. Handling large amount of data can be a very difficult task. Because of that, the proponents decided to create a web-based system that can help them in managing the registration, monitoring, and organizing all information and activities happening within their church.

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION [3]Web-based system is a kind of application or service that is running in a server that is accessible using a Web

One of the most important aspects that the authors focus upon is the explicit biblical citing of small group ministry within the life of Jesus, specifically found in chapter 2, the writers point out that, “Those who would be a disciple of Jesus must practice the disciplines of Jesus.” It is here that the authors express clear vivid examples from the Gospels whereby Jesus takes a small band of disciples to mentor, instruct, serve as example, and to the unleash them to ministry (cf., Matthew…

This mission reminds us that for the Kingdom of God to continue to break in, individual lives need to be changed, while being motivated and equipped for transformation. Our Book of Discipline offers this cue: “God has used our church to save persons, heal relationships, transform social structures, and spread scriptural holiness, thereby changing the world.” When we change lives and introduce people to the all-loving nature of God, we indeed transform the world. When making disciples, the Church welcomes people into community, educates them on God’s call for Christians, and equips them toward using their spiritual gifts to serve as change agents playing a role in bringing about the Kingdom of…

As a children’s Sunday School Teacher, I am responsible for teaching the word of God to the young in a way that they can interpret and understand. It is important to me to make sure they understand the basics of Christianity in a way so that at the age of understanding they make the decision to follow Christ. Once a child accepts Christ as their savior then what? What is then the essential activity of Christian ministry? Is it enough to just teach what the bible says, and encourage them to be active and use their spiritual gifts for the benefit of the church itself, or is their more to Christian ministry than teaching, learning, and working in the church? How does the great commission, in which Jesus tells us to go ye therefore and make disciples, fit into church ministry? Are we as church leaders really making disciples, who will in turn make other disciples, or are we developing church members.…
