BACKGROUND:
In present days students in various colleges interacts with each other in manual way which results to the use of much energy, time consuming, money wastage due to the distance covered between them.
Due to this, IFM Networking Site (INS) web-based system automates all the processes student use to interact with each other.
INS system will allow IFM students to communicate with each other, sharing of academic ideas, activities, events, and interests.
In order to use INS system users must be IFM students others users are not allowed to be a member of the system.
AIMS:
This project aims to develop a website which provides a means of communication among students on network.
INS system is useful for sharing information between students who are located at different faculties. Students can share academic materials, question papers, presentations using this application.
OBJECTIVES AND FEATURES OF INS SYSTEM:
The objective of the project is to explain and elaborate the concept of “Social Networking Sites” to the IFM students, hence providing a reliable and efficient communication online so as to assist students to afford it without much trouble. * To have attractive and secure login page to access. * Make new student account in more user friendly and proper validation of details. * Search student easily on entire network. * Send friend request to other student to make friends. * Add friends to your friend box accept request. * Creating a public profile having social, academic and personal information. * Ease of editing of
