Project Title: The Bang

Outline:- I am Aakash Sharma, Currently I am in my third year of graduation in digital media through 3d Animation. In my present semester I have to work on the Final Project .In this project I am intended to prepare a Short Animated clip based on the following concept “A boy while staring at a girl bangs into a pillar”. I tried to a create a concept which is from real life, so that viewer will not get bored. My short film will be presented through a sequence whose ingenuity and visual appeal ,camera skills and incongruity has the power to evoke laughter.
Target Audience:-
As I have planned to make a CG animation film which will be full of romantic humor, my target audience will be grown-ups, like above thirteen.
I chose this concept because I would like to give a piece of work especially for youngsters around 15 -25 years. This story can become a great laugh for my target audience, so they will surely enjoy a lot.
Scope:-
Animation! This is the vehicle I have chosen to express myself in. A whole list of “tools” is required: drawing, timing, phrasing, action, acting, staging, imagination, observation, interpretation, logic, caricature, creativity, clarity, empathy, and so on—a mind boggling array of prerequisites.
Rest at ease .I wasn’t born with all of them. Some of them may need a little sharpening, others may need to be awakened as from a deep sleep, but they are as much a part of my arms, legs, eyes, kidneys, haemoglobin, and speech.
The key skills I will be aiming at will

Our brief was to create the opening sequence of a new thriller film, or the opening sequence of a new children’s TV programme of any genre, or a series of three advertisements for a local or regional event. My group wrote down an idea each for all three briefs and we decided to continue with the thriller film brief. The opening sequence should include titles and should be approximately two minutes long. Individually I wanted to develop the skills that I had learnt from the practice coursework and gain more experience of filming along with confidence when editing.…

The main goal of the paper is to provide a brief outline about the features and applications of 3-DAnimation.In order to make the entities look natural we go in for three-dimensional animation to bring in reality.3-DAnimation provides many features using which one can give out excellent animations. We can make use of this animation to impose the human movements and difficult facial expressions into computer images with the assurance of higher degree of realism. All the above can be brought into existence by using the various models supported by 3-DAnimation. More sophisticated computer animation can move the camera and/or the objects in more interesting ways, e.g. along computed curved paths, and can even use the laws of Physics to determine the behavior of objects.…

My intent of this analysis is to gain a better understanding of how design principles are used in animated movies. Since nothing in an animation movie is technically “real”, there is, in theory, no way to invoke the same emotions from audience as you would through a “live action” movie. In a “live action” movie, it is not uncommon to have actors improvising in various scenes, but the same cannot be executed within the processes of an animated film. In this essay, I aim to approach the methods of obtaining the same emotions invoked from an “live action” film in an animated film from an analytical point of view.…

Trends and history reveal how evolution of an art form occurs. Paying close attention to the trends and growth of any field helps predict the future of that industry. It is important to recognize trends in filmmaking, storytelling, and technology for an animator to increase his or her chances of continued employment. This book will point out many trends from the past and provide a blueprint of the future. By observing and learning about these developments, we remain educated about the technology and the audience. The art of classical film animation has been ever-evolving since its early days. Artists and the studios at which they work have strived to raise the bar visually through storytelling since the first crude attempts at putting moving images on the screen. And no, we are not talking about He-Man and the Masters of the Universe here. We are talking about classical animation and its evolution into computer-generated feature films—think Steamboat Willie and The Incredibles. With improvements in animation came demands for richer backgrounds, more complex camera moves, and an ever-increasing level of believability all around. This increasing need for more impressive visuals also pushed the budgets of these pictures higher and higher. Walt Disney paved the way for most animated features in the beginning by always striving to find new ways to push the technology and budgets in order to make a richer and more appealing animated film. With rising costs came the inevitable call to streamline production and establish more economical ways in which to get the message to the screen. Most of the other studios at this time focused on how to make their films as inexpensively as they could and still garner some of the success Walt Disney was having. Recounting every technological advance in the art of animation in this chapter would be boring. (However, we do provide an interesting 2D/CG chronological timeline of events and…

I was once young and will forever be young. I love watching cartoons and will always love to. What is the vital role of cartoons in our society today? Cartoons are classified as a type of drawing or caricature intended for the arts. The English magazine Punch published cartoons that made fun of artwork planned for public buildings in London in the 1840’s. Since then, “cartoon” has generally meant a drawing intended to be funny or to make a point. The evolution of cartoons paved way as a means not only for entertainment but for self expression, too. I found out that Cartoons which are animated, or appear to move, have been around for centuries. The first ones were called flipbooks. They were costly and difficult to make. Each picture had to be drawn separately by hand. A seven-minute cartoon used over 10,000 drawings. They were made of pages of drawings. Each drawing was slightly different from the last. People flipped the pages with their thumb. The characters appeared to move. Eventually, new methods were invented that made cartoons easier and cheaper to make yet have been used for centuries. At the beginning of the 20th century, film animation was introduced as a cartoon genre with the invention of motion pictures. It is created by recording a series of still images—drawings, objects, or people in various positions of incremental movement—that when played back no longer appear individually as static images but combine to produce the illusion of unbroken motion. The term animation applies to the creations of film, video, or computers, and even to motion toys, which usually consist of a series of drawings or photographs on paper that are viewed with a mechanical device or by flipping through a hand-held sequence of images (for example, a pad of paper can be used to create an animated flipbook of drawings – which once a child like me used to do). The term cartoon is sometimes used to describe…
