Significance of The Study
The significance of this project is to have an organized parking area in NDMU so that everyone can park their vehicles easily and comfortably, everyone’s vehicle will be secured. Having a proper parking area in NDMU is necessary to maintain the beauty of the university.

Project background
Parking lot is an area that is assigned for parking. Normally, the parking spaces are marked on the ground with white or yellow lines that form squares that each fit one car. There are
2 ca parking techniques. There are 2 car parking techniques, the Parallel parking and
Perpendicular parking. Parallel parking means parking your car in line with the other cars parallel to the curb. While the perpendicular parking means parking the cars side by side, perpendicular to wall, curb or something else. You can see this type of parking mostly in parking bays and garages, because you can park many cars on limited space.
• We propose this project, having a parking area at NDMU because we’re in a university and we don’t have a proper parking area. It is not organized and it’s difficult for us as a student, not only to us but also to our parents and teachers to find where to park our vehicles. The worst thing is, there are so many beautiful buildings in the school, yet there is no good parking area. Parking are in the school won’t fit to the high class buildings in
NDMU. So we really need to have a parking area at NDMU so that our vehicles will be secured, can be organized accordingly and also for the beauty of NDMU.

Problems
• Parking area at NDMU is not organized. It is a university yet it doesn’t have a presentable parking area. And there are so many high class buildings in the school, yet there is no presentable parking area.

A student must circle around each floor and sometimes drive around the same floor of the deck twice in case they missed a spot. It is nearly impossible to find a perfect spot, so the only thing a person can do is to get the first spot available to them even if it is located in one of the highest floors. One must leave their house or apartment extra early especially if they have a morning class just to find parking. Truly, it does take a lot of time, and even worse when it is packed. All in all, parking is one of the aspects of Montclair that I was not expecting, but it is something that I must adapt to in order to continue making the most out of my college…

Williams Elementary School is located just off of interstate 75 and home of the mighty Eagles. From the outside it has the appearance of a typical school with screaming students, rushing parents, and screeching buses. It is made out of boring brown bricks and beige stucco boarding near the top of the building. The inside features a prison-like setup, only with more vibrant colors. There is a double door leading into an office with multiple faculty and staff. In order to actually enter the school, you have to be buzzed in by the round and hyper man at the main desk. Once in the building, you will see that it is shaped like a large square with hallways extending from four sides. The hallways are full of colorful painting of eagles, laminated…

Here in his writing, Kozol shares his experiences with students and teachers while visiting Fremont High School in Los Angeles, California. From the beginning, Kozol set the mood for the piece by describing the lackluster conditions of the buildings. He described the lack of sufficient classroom space by saying that "nearly a third of all the classrooms in the school, were located in portables...took place in converted storage closets" (Kozol 641). By beginning his written tour of this school with these vivid descriptions, Kozol instantly placed me inside both the school and a depressing atmosphere.…

Although my drive to school takes only 10 minutes, I leave my house at 10:30 to be at my 11:30 class. At 10:40 I pull into the parking lot with what looks like one hundred other students. As I am wedged behind other anxious commuters I can only envision the convenience of another parking lot. Once in my classroom, I am late, thus frustrated - concentration in a three-hour class is going to be non-existent. Students at **** stress over finding a parking spot, although we should be more concerned with English papers, lab reports and math midterms. Discussions of the Greater Vancouver transit system, the stress, the cost, and inconvenience of parking, and fit solutions to the parking problem will explain how parking could be convenient, thus less stressful, for **** commuters if a multi-level parking garage were added.…
