In Prometheus, the humans experienced suffering when pandora’s box is opened and Victor loses his loved ones through the monster’s anger. Prometheus the Titan god experienced suffering when he stole fire from Zeus to give to man from Mount Olympus. He was hang on a mountain where a vulture would eat up his liver Slowly and continuously as it heals. In the same way, the monster and vulture seem to have some connections, because the vulture helps to continue Prometheus pain and the monster in Frankenstein brought pain to Victor even though that was not his intentions at first. But because he was neglected by his creator and his refusal of creating a female partner for him, he had no choice but to cause havoc on him and his family. The monster said “from that moment I declared everlasting war against the species, and more than all, against him who had formed me, and sent me forth to this insupportable misery”(95). The innocent people in both novel suffered greatly as a result of the evil that emerged in their society.
