Prometheus demonstrated one of his many traits, strength, after he proved that he was loyal to humanity. Zeus, a god who loathed humanity, continues to set up all humans for failure. Prometheus, being the only Titan to avoid the Titanomachy, a war between Titans and Gods in which the Titans lost, was all alone in his ventures against Zeus. Even then, he continued to aid the humans. In his first case, he tricked Zeus so that humans would be blessed with nourishing food for all of eternity, and Zeus was left being "blessed" with inedible animal bones. This situation also demonstrates Prometheus' kindness to humanity. One of these occasions was when he tricked Zeus so that could be blessed with nourishing food for all of eternity. Zeus was not fond of humanity, and plotted to make sure they did not have the blessing of food, in hopes that they would die off. Prometheus' plan was to hide food within the stomach of an ox, symbolizing nourishment with a displeasing exterior. He then took inedible animal bones, and completely covered them in glistening fat, which the Gods found tasty. This symbolized something inedible within a pleasing exterior. Zeus was easily fooled, and picked the fat covered bones, expecting to leave humanity with nothing to eat for eternity. In reality, humanity got one of the best gifts of them all. This infuriated Zeus, and after this scenario and many other embarrassing situations for him, all cause by Prometheus, he would banish Prometheus to eternal
