It is evident that people in today’s society are easily manipulated. A common way people do this is with propaganda. Card stacking is a common propaganda we see every day, but are still unaware of. It is a type of propaganda when only the positives are presented in a statement or proposal. An entity with power is able to control someone’s decision and opinion through the use of the card stacking propaganda. Ray Kroc, the owner of McDonalds once said “look after the customer and the business will take care of itself." This is not true; in fact they do not care for their customers at all. citizens still don’t have internet access to find the nutrition online, so he went in McDonald stores throughout Manhattan he found that only one in two McDonalds had nutrition information. McDonalds does not inform the negatives about eating their food. Morgan Spurlock stated “some of the McDonalds didn’t have any you can take home” and also stated “this nice manager brought me a nutrition chart- from the basement”. This goes to show you that McDonalds does not want you to find out about their nutritional information. It is hidden from the customers in remote places they won’t find about it. Thus our opinion about the food tasting good doesn’t change and they aren’t able to change our decision on whether we should continue to eat the food because we are not actually sure about if the food is actually bad for us. The idea of McDonalds not informing their customers is bothering because no one is doing anything about finding out and this will continue to get worse. To some people McDonalds is addicting to them, yet they are continuing to eat it because no one else has bothered to help find out why. So we’ll continue to keep going to McDonalds because they only inform the good things to
