CML3101 CREATING AND UNDERSTANDING MEANING, 2012-2013
FIRST COURSEWORK EXERCISE
As you know, your grade for this module will be based on three coursework exercises. This first exercise accounts for 20% of your final grade for the module. (Please note however that we do not work out your overall grade for the module simply by performing an ‘averaging’ calculation).
The exercise is in two parts. Part one asks you to demonstrate your understanding of relevant concepts by carrying out a number of short tasks (note that not all of the concepts will have been discussed yet and in some cases we ask you to go beyond classroom work and carry out your own research here). Part two asks you to comment on and make suggestions for rewriting a short text.
