Proposal for the Infrared Sensor
Introduction
Infrared sensor is an electronic sensor that measures infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view. They are most often used in motion detectors. The other applications are aircrafts, climatology, meteorology, night vision, gas detectors, infrared tracking and astronomy.
Design and Development
1. Location: Canada
2. Obstacle while designing and development (WIPO, 1998):
a) Intellectual property rights while designing
b) Algorithm and patent to design the product so that it should not match with other company product
c) Develop the standard and customized product to avoid complication during the manufacturing stage.
Manufacturing
1. Location: South Korea
2. Obstacle (Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada, 2014) :
a) Intellectual property rights while manufacturing in South Korea because we need to protect our innovation and technology.
b) Getting the right materials to manufacture the product might be difficult.
c) Tightening any manufacturing process takes time; it is not going to happen overnight.
d) Lack of knowledge may take more time to delivery or launch the product on time.
Transportation
1. Transportation to, and selling within, may take place in South Korea and rest of the developed and developing country.
2. Obstacle (The World Trade Organization, 2015)
a) Tariff or Trade barriers
b) Rules for the valuation of goods at customs
c) Importing and exporting licence
d) Rules of origin
e) Law enforcement obstacle of different countries

The main objective of this paper is to learn and understand the international business law and its implications in context with the export of infrared sensors from South Korea to
