Food essay
This essay is about the pros and cons on agriculture, milk products, and meats poultry. I would like to restate my strongest arguments on everything on these subjects. Agriculture is the science or practice of farming. And that’s including cultivation of the soil for the rearing of animals to provide food, wool, and other products. Agriculture is good for the environment. Since you are making more efficient use of the land. You wouldn’t be able to supply the world with food by foraging. So agriculture, or processes that will yield greater harvests on the same plot of land, some problems can arise. Chemicals such as pesticicles and fertilizers can contaminate water supplies, and over farming a land can leave the soil barren. Also slash and bun agriculture, a form of agriculture primarily found in rain forests uses massive plots of land to yield smaller results. This impacts animal’s habitats.
One of the main arguments for USDA recommendations is that drinking milk or equivalent dairy products will reduce the risk of fractures. But in fact there’s very little evidence that milk consumption is associated with reduced fractures. Cow milk provides high-quality protein and is good sources of vitamin A, D, and B-12, and also riboflavin, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, zinc, and calcium. If you drink milk at all, choose low-fat or none-fat organic ones. Nonfat milk retains most of the nutrients in whole milk, but hardly any of the calories or fat. Meat is bad for your health. Some people say tat the protein we need is in meats. You can find the same protein in many other things such as beans, potato's, wheat bread, nuts, grains, strawberries, rice, tomatoes, broccoli, green peas, and even onions. Meat has been pro oven to cause heart disease. Meat is in general, very high in fat, which can lead to obesity and type 2 diabetes. Meat can even raise blood pressure. It's also bad for our environment; did you know meat factories cause 80% of global warming? That's why everyone says that by going vegan your helping yourself, helping the environment, animals, your money, and helping solve world hunger! Wait; hold on a second, World hunger? That’s right an acre of land can produce 20,000 pounds of potatoes, but only 165 pounds of beef. Reading this essay shows how much that milk products, meat poultry, and also agriculture are really are. By this little information that I gave many people have concerned the way they eat. Will you?

Through careful sociological studies, one can see that the impact of agriculture is beneficial to life. In the article “The Worst Mistake of the Human Race” by Jared Diamond, he argues that agriculture “was in many ways a catastrophe” and “with agriculture came the gross social and sexual inequality, the disease and despotism, that curse our existence.” Although this may be somewhat true, many would disagree. Agriculture doesn’t lead to inequality nor diseases. The differences between humans lead to inequality and poor agriculture leads to diseases. Differences between humans such as their sex and what they are capable of doing leads to inequality, not agriculture. Poor agriculture such as using urine to water plants creates and spreads…

In the beginning there was one supreme being who created all. He was a tall, youthful God with gentle hands and an understanding heart of love. The existence of humanity was from his power and discretion. Heaven was a beautiful garden with peaceful wild animals, to honor the natural beauty of love and prosperity. In the center, a gazebo sits housing the throne from where the creator watches over his creations. After such creation the God became ill and he needed someone to run his kingdom and guide his people. God sat down upon his throne and created two young men named Able and Obadiah. Might Not Be Doing You Much Good,” Aaron E. Carroll (2014) discusses that milk might not be healthy as most people think. Even though some institutions encourage people to drink milk every day, there is not enough indication that proves drinking milk is healthy. Even the dairy factories advertisements do not say that drinking milk is good for the body’s health because it contains calcium and vitamin D. The Journal of Bone And Mineral Research find out that milk has nothing to do with strengthen bones. Another study confirms that drinking much milk may cause risks of fractions and death. Thousands of people, from different ages and genders, participated in these studies. As a result, there is no relation between drinking milk and increase the bones strengthen. Carroll emphasizes that most results seems clearly that drinking milk leads to risks rather than benefits. Furthermore, he agrees that vitamin D helps bones to absorb calcium, but getting more vitamin D does not help in strengthen bones. Milk has many calories whether it is a low-fat or whole fat, drinking much milk causes the obesity, regardless of that it has much protein. People can replace animals’ milk and drink soy milk…

Fraser stated, “If Americans just ate less meat – like driving cars less often – the problem could be alleviated without giving up meat entirely. (698). The way we eat meat and how often we eat it can cause a major effect on the environment. The more meat Americans eat, the more animals’…

Veganism; just the word sends animal lovers and bacon lovers alike into fits, and the CBC Ideas Podcast “Meat on the Table” is no exception. Within the first ten minutes of the show, Paul Kennedy had lost all control as moderator, while Gary Francione and Nicolette Hahn Niman interrupted and insulted each other. Gary was the passionate voice of people who believe that the killing and using of animals for food should be abolished. Contrarily, Nicolette attempted to explain how the consumption of animals is a necessary part of the cycle of nutrients. Through their insults and habits of interrupting I quickly became wary of the program, however, one point made by both sides stuck with me.…
