If a baker was to be in a bisexual or homosexual relationship and they had someone refuse them for their beliefs, they would feel as if they had been discriminated as if they were the gay or lesbian couple they have disagreed to baking a wedding cake for. No person should be put down because of their opinion. This couple’s life does not pertain to the baker’s therefore, the baker should not hold a grudge for the actions someone else performs. These characteristics do not relate to the ones who do not have them so, they should not be put down by those who are clueless on how they feel. A baker may say they refuse a bisexual or homosexual couple because of their religious rights but, judging someone is an action a religious person is not supposed to perform. Religious rights of the baker could be a reason not to bake the couple’s cake. However, is the baker also refusing those who are living together before marriage, those who have sexual intercourse before marriage, those who drink alcoholic beverages, etc. If this baker is only refusing this couple because of their belief instead of their religion, it puts a burden on the couple and the baker. Why not just bake the wedding cake for the couple as if it were someone who lived with their significant other before marriage, it would make life easier for all three of
