I really enjoyed reading your post. I similarly find myself acknowledging that Calvinism has its pros; for instance, they provide a strong emphasis on the sovereignty of God. However, as you have known, people who appeared to be saved but later left the faith by rejecting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, I have likewise seen people leave the faith. In addition to personal experiences, I find myself leaning on Arminianism because of the constant encouragement from New Testament authors to continue to believe in the Gospel.
